We like to have outrageous fun in marriage ministry at Northeast as we look to IGNITE lifelong husband and wife Christ-centered bonds that bring honor and glory to God. Whether you’re just starting out as an engaged couple, looking to enrich a thriving marriage, or if you’re experiencing some challenges right now, there is something designed specifically for you!
Marriage Mentoring
Do you feel like you have a good or even great marriage, but think there are still areas where you both could grow? Are you experiencing challenges that are drawing you away from God’s perfect plan for your marriage? Is your marriage suffering under the stresses of everyday life or from un-resolved hurt and pain?
No matter where you are in your Marriage, you can grow even closer together through Marriage Mentoring.
What is Marriage Mentoring?
Marriage Mentoring offers married couples an opportunity to meet with a trained marriage mentor couple who have been called to serve God and His Kingdom by enriching and celebrating Christ-centered marriage. Mentors have access to many different resources that might be useful in advancing married couples closer to the marriage that God has planned for them. Our mentors work with couples seeking to grow even closer in their thriving marriage and couples who are experiencing some challenges in their marriage.
God created us for community and has designed Christian life to be done together as one Church body. When we devote our marriages to God and engage our marriages with our Church family, we are honoring God’s desire for us to be connected with His community of believers and ultimately for a deeper relationship with Him. “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25

San Antonio Marriage Initiative
We are blessed to partner with like-minded people of faith who share our values for Christ-centered marriage. As a Marriage Champion Church with the San Antonio Marriage Initiative (SAMI), we are a part of a group of churches, vocational ministries, and professional counselors/therapists who share resources, programs, and best practices to grow a strong culture of committed marriage throughout San Antonio and its surrounding communities.
